Financial Aid at SCS
At Shoreline Christian School, we believe that every family should be able to afford a high quality, Christian, education. Each year we set aside a portion of our budget to assist with tuition through a Variable Tuition program called Family Individualized Tuition (FIT). Your students’ education is an investment in their future and we are committed to sharing that investment with our families.
Any family (current or new) of a Full Day PreK-12 student may apply for our FIT Variable Tuition if they are concerned about affording the full tuition rate. There are many factors considered in determining the tuition amount, including income, assets, unusual expenses, family size, and other tuition commitments.
When applying, you will be asked to submit is the previous year’s Tax Returns – Form 1040 and W2 forms. For business owners – all returns and related schedules (Schedule C, Schedule E, Schedule F, Form 4562, Form 1065, Form 1120s, Schedule K-1, and Form 8825) as applicable. If you have that on hand, you’ll need to scan and upload them to the FACTs system while you apply.

How Do I Apply For FIT?
Shoreline Christian School uses the FACTs Grant & Aid tool to determine a FIT plan. Start your application with FACTs. Incomplete applications may not receive full consideration for FIT. Please call the Business Office at 206.364.7777 or email Cynthia Gray for additional information.
Note: Applying for admission to Shoreline Christian School and applying for FIT are two separate processes. FIT is awarded on an annual basis and must be re-applied for each year (although current students are offered re-enrollment every year).
Confidentiality Statement
Shoreline Christian School treats all financial information provided by families as strictly confidential. FIT assessments are reviewed by a small FIT committee with personal identifying information redacted. FIT assessments are reported and billed to families by our accountant under the supervision of our Head of School.
