Play Based Program
Empower Confident, Creative, Caring Learners
Shoreline Christian School provides a Preschool environment where 3-4 year old’s can learn while playing and getting introduced to the structure that a school day brings. Whether their first day or last day, their curiosity is nurtured and guided to help them grow.
Our Preschool meets in dedicated space at Shoreline Christian Reformed Church, right next door to our main school buildings. This open space, with large windows, a private playground, recently remodeled kitchen, preschooler-sized bathrooms, and stage, allows us to create a variety of lessons and activities specifically tailored to students at this age. We’d love to show you around the space on a tour.

The Shoreline Difference

Hands-On, Play-Based Approach
We recognize that these 3 and 4 year old’s still need the time to play and be little. Young children learn better when they are provided with engaging hands-on activities that incorporate our age-appropriate curriculum. Many social-emotional skills are being developed in children as they go from playing alongside their peers to playing with their peers.
Enriched Learning
Our preschool teachers use The Creative Curriculum as a guideline when planning thematic, play-based lessons that encourage imagination and social interaction. All of our lessons are designed to create a strong academic and faith foundation.
The Creative Curriculum focuses on 10 areas of development and learning:
- Social Emotional
- Physical
- Language
- Cognitive
- Literacy
- Math
- Science and Technology
- Social Studies
- Arts
- English Language Acquisition
