Hello! My name is Marta Stahlfeld, and I am the Secondary Social Studies teacher at Shoreline Christian School. I was born and raised in the Burien area, and I love the Pacific Northwest. I earned my undergraduate degree at Wisconsin Lutheran College and my graduate degree in teaching at Seattle Pacific University. Soon after graduating from SPU, I moved to Shenyang, a city in northeast China, to teach at an international school.
I love history because people are endlessly fascinating. The study of history and social studies allows approaching those people—individuals, groups, and movements—that helped to shape the world they lived in and the world we live in.
