Shoreline Christian School is seeking on-call substitute teachers. These are natural teachers who are:

  • Temporarily executing core teacher’s lesson plans
  • Flexibly adapting to different classes and curricula
  • Enjoying our small learning community

  1. Sign up for MERIT to gain a STARS number- https://apps.dcyf.wa.gov/MERIT/Home/SignInRegister
  2. You will need to fulfill 30 hours STARS Basics class, or apply for an educational exemption with an Education-related degree
  3. Apply for background check in MERIT
  4. Get a TB test
  5. Optional – Food Handlers permit (not required unless assisting with lunches or snacks)
